Attached you will find my recommendation letter for Magic World school as we discussed a few weeks back. You have my permission to post it on the website you mentionned or to show it to any English speaking parents who are interested in your school. Last week, he came home doing all of these country dances he learned at school and he was all laughing and full of smiles. He is always saying "my teacher says ..." which tells me they certainly have his attention. I received recently a very detailed, multi-page report on Tom's progress which, even in Russian which I don't understand, looks very comprehensive and detailed. I will have it translated into English so I can see all the great things they have to say about Tom. Regardless of the message, it is obvious your staff has put a lot of time and effort into this report. For a child of 3 years old, this is wonderful feedback to receive as you often do not get this much information in an English school. Thank you again to you and your staff, you are doing a great job. FYI, Tom will be away for May holiday from May 8-16th as Jack's British School has holiday then.

After an extensive school search in Moscow, we selected Magic World School for its facility, proximity to home and recommendations from other foreign families. Our 3 year old son started a half-day program this past fall at Magic World. It has been a wonderful experience to watch him grow and learn throughout the year with the school’s staff and students.
While our son had only limited Russian language skills upon entrance, he is now very comfortable communicating in his second language since he has been fully immersed in this Russian learning environment. Our son was placed in the 2-3 year old group with 15 students and 3 teachers. The staff is attentive, caring and nurturing. He greets them every morning with a smile and a hug. Our son is always enthusiastic to go to school and upon his return tells of his adventures in learning in music, dance, art, Russian, English, and outdoor play.
The facility is large, spacious and filled with new learning materials and furniture. It is always clean, well kept and there is lots of room for the children to move around. There is a full time security person on duty at the school and the entrance Videophone to ensure only authorized persons can enter the facility. The grounds outside the school host a large, clean park with climbing and playing apparatus which the children use as often as possible, weather permitting. As a parent, it is great to see the children playing and socializing outdoors as well as in the classroom.
While our Russian language skills as parents are limited, Magic World staff has ensured there is someone available at the school to communicate with us in English. A translator was provided at the parent information evening for us where the staff presented their learning programs. Magic World has provided a very extensive report on our son’s learning progress so we can assess his abilities and work on areas that need further support.
Although Magic World is a Russian learning environment, English speaking families are generously welcomed to have their children join the program. It has been a wonderful year for our son and his Russian language skills and friendships have blossomed. I would highly recommend this school to foreign families here in Moscow. Magic World is above and beyond any other facility that I have seen here. We feel comfortable, confident and truly blessed that our son has been part of this magical place.
